Our Mission – No Emission
ChoosEV is the leading Danish electric mobility operator (EMO),
owned by the energy companies SE and SEAS-NVE.
We provide electric vehicles, charging stations, financial
services, operation, advice and environmental optimization in
relation to electric vehicles and infrastructure.
Within the next 2 years, Denmark will be the first market where
ChoosEV A/S establishes 150 quick charge stations and more
than 700 semipublic and public EV charge stations.
Our mission is to create a strong synergy between environmental
concerns and mobility by promoting electric vehicles and ensuring
that they are charged intelligently.
Test-an-EV - the largest research project for EVs in
Europe
In 2012, the electric mobility operator (EMO) ChoosEV will
put many Electric Vehicles on the Danish roads in the research
project Test-an-EV. They will be tested by, in total, 2,400 Danish
citizens all over the country. Each test driver will have the
electric vehicle for a period of three months. The project will be
running for two years, and during this period we will collect
technical data from the cars about battery technology, driving
patterns, intelligent charging and the electric vehicles influence
on the energy net.
All of this will bring us closer to the implementation of
electric vehicles as a solution to the means of transportation.
Denmark is a first-mover in the field, and we believe that electric
vehicles will slowly conquer the roads and hearts of the Danes.
